Augmenting
the radio experince.

People who love music always crave one thing, to find something new. And that’s what world renowned KEXP does: expose listeners to music they might not hear anywhere else. To help KEXP continue that mission of music discovery, and modernize the connection between KEXP and its fans, I created a way to augment the live broadcast listening experience. Hooking into a new database KEXP had just built, a simple UI seamlessly blends the live and archived listening experience allowing the listener to browse KEXP's archive of related audio, video, pictures and written materials. The experience directly rewards users for discovering, sharing and pledging support  for KEXP (it's public radio) all while creating a trove of live behavioral data and a new generation of member support for KEXP.
